Catalogue Description:
Pitcher. Buff earthenware with brown glaze in upper half, colorless glaze in lower half and interior. Bellied shape. Modeled C-shaped handle, not separately molded and applied. Handle is partly ribbed and decorated with foliage/leaf decoration. Molded high relief scenes on front and back of soldiers murdering a man and people begging them not too. Condition: Crack at upper belly on front handle. Lower juncture of handle is separating. Minor chips on foot rim. Traces of red brown paint in crevices.
