Catalogue Description:
A round tray decorated with transfer-printed polychrome designs of stylized branches and pomegranates on a white ground. At center-left is an open picture book revealing a scene with two girls bathing in the ocean, flanked by a Chinese brush and ink landscape on light blue ground and a rounded fan decorated with fish in the Chinese style. Opposite is an image of a small sailboat within a rhomboidal frame surrounded by stylized twigs. To the right is bound set of picture cards surrounded by stylized leaves. Gilt line along rim. Part of a 11-piece tea set. CONDITION: Excellent.
