Catalogue Description:
Porcelain nut dish, part of green and white dinner service (68.87.1-13). White porcelain with vitreous glaze, rectangular dish with upturned sides that are pinched in slightly in center of three edges; fourth edge has pulled, rounded handle. Applied decorations in gilding and green paint around rim: gilded band around rim; squares of basket weave pattern in gilding at four corners; roundel containing stylized fleur-de-lis at border opposite handle; gilded flourish on handle; and border of ribbon and tassel design between basket pattern on other two sides. CONDITION: Good.
