Catalogue Description: Dinner Plate, Porcelain. White body. At rim edge light-pink and mauve border with blue/white dots. Inscription on rim bordered with light-blue and yellow bands, deer head at beginning: "HE - BELIEVED - THAT - ALL - THINGS - WHERE - ONE - BIG - MIRICLE - AND - WHEN - A - MAN - KNOWS - THAT - MUCH - HE - KNOWS - SOMMETHING - TO - GO - UPON". In center of plate with light-blue and yellow border, five pink/mauve deer heads with entwined antlers on cream ground with bearded male rider with blue hat and blue robe on bottom center deer. One of a set of twelve dinner plates, all different, with quotes from R. Kipling; see 1990.145.16 - .27 CONDITION - Very good original condition.
