Catalogue Description: Large white porcelain cup (a) and saucer (b) with hand-painted polychrome and gilt decorations. Cup flares out toward top and is molded around body into sections; attached ear-shaped handle. Gilded band around base and wide band around inner edge of rim; sections and handle also outlined with gilding. Sections around handle contain painted flowers on stem (different type in each section). On body opposite handle, sections contain gilded inscription. Deep saucer with wide rim molded into sections which are decorated with gilding and flowers to match cup. Condition: Good, some loss of gilding.
