Catalogue Description: Part of a set of mahogany side chairs (64.243.1-.4) with slip seats and simple cabriole legs with claw and ball feet and straight rear legs. Thick skirt around three sides. Seat is almost rectangular, curving slightly. Back made of curving stiles topped by curving rail with scroll design in center. Splat is elaboration of fiddle shape pierced with three narrow upper openings and diamond shape below. A narrow molding outlines the splat and its openings, the inner side of rails and stiles, bottom of skirt and overlaps onto knee of cabriole legs. CONDITION - Good
