Catalogue Description:
White tin-glazed earthenware (Delftware) tea caddy in the form of a rectangular bottle with cylindrical flat-topped cover. The sides have leaf borders around a recessed picture area. The pictures on the narrow sides are goddesses in niches (Justice and Fertility); on the broader sides are two interior scenes, one has a lady and gentleman seated at a table drinking tea. The other, a seated gentleman, smokes a pipe with a lady behind him. Condition: Some repairs, edges chipped
