Catalogue Description:
Box (a) with lid (b), hammered copper body with enamel decoration on top and enameled interior. Round squat broad shouldered form with short vertical rim. Slightly domed circular lid with orange enamel central circle and ring of six symmetrical stylized orange/red tulips against a mottled green/orange ground. Interior with pale pink overall enamel surface. CONDITION - Large circular firing flaw to interior of bowl near bottom; numerous cracks and losses to enamel on interior of vertical lip; small scratch to center of enamel flower on border of lid; crazing to interior enamel surface of lid.
