Catalogue Description: Baked clay funerary cone inscribed for the King’s Scribe Ramose. The stamped inscription, which appears in raised relief, consists of six columns of hieroglyphic text within a circular border line. The inscription states that Ramose held his titles during the reign of King Taharqa. The clay is brick red on the surface. Condition: Remains of gesso (?) at tip; small black stain.
