Catalogue Description: Green glazed faience amulet representing a baboon. The ape is squatting or seated (the rear lower part of the figure curves concavely outwards almost in the manner of a piece of furniture). There is a loop on the figure’s back at shoulder level. The figure’s hands rest on its knees. The base is straight-edged in front and rounded in the rear. Condition: Bottom of base blackened; incrustation between legs; small pits over body.
