Catalogue Description: Medium gray-green glazed faience amulet in the shape of a Djed- pillar. The pillar rests on a very low base which is formed by flattening the bottom edge of the pillar. The rear surface is flat except for the addition of a back-pillar. The back-pillar is pierced for suspension, and its top is beveled slightly towards the rear. The cross ties hace their flat surfaces towards the top: they flare outwards towards the front and rear as they rise from the pillar. Condition: The surface is strained especially between the ties.
