Catalogue Description:
One Djed pillar (type C) in pale blue faience. The flaring base leads into an upward tapering shaft which culminates in a bead and reel pattern in two registers. The typical vertebrae stylizations take place from here and the four sections are capped by a rectangular knob. The pillar itself bears a “back pillar”. Condition: The first vertebra is broken on the right hand side.
