Catalogue Description:
Green glazed faience amulet representing Bes seated upon a flat plinth. The god sits with his legs drawn up and his hands on his knees. He wears a feathered headdress. A back pillar, pierced for suspension reaches up to the top of the headdress. The piece is schematically modelled with details made by grooves. Condition: Headdress chipped; crack lines throughout glaze.
