Catalogue Description:
Greenish-blue glazed faience figure of a seated lioness-headed goddess. The goddess sits upon a throne the sides of which are openwork designs. She holds a sistrum in her right hand while with her left hand she holds a papyrus to her chest. On the rear of the throne is an inscription mentioning the name of Bastet. Condition: Left side has suffered splotchy glaze loss; some glaze loss on front as well.
