Catalogue Description:
Plaque with scarabeus in relief, impressed into a piece of sheet gold. Clear marks of very fine tooling on obverse. Condition: Corners bent up. Slight break in edge on left below. Dark brown stains on front across middle of scarab and elsewhere; one stain on reverse on thorax of scarab otherwise fairly clear of bitumen.
