Catalogue Description: Dark grey-black steatite head of Amun statuette. Feathers and disc missing from crown but there is a transverse groove to receive them - probably originally of another material. He also wears a straight beard which at present is short and ends in a straight tip (possibly missing part at end). Ears are large and set at level of eyes. Brows are natural–upper eyelids rimmed with short cosmetic lines. Eyes bulge; nose fairly straight and broad at nostrils; lips full. Facial modelling actually poor. Condition: Numerous shallow pock marks over surface and scratches on top of crown. Otherwise fragment is in good condition.
