Catalogue Description: Pottery funerary cone inscribed for the Fourth Priest of Amun, Mentuemhat and his wife Niskhonsu. The stamped inscription, which appears in raised relief, consists of four lines of hieroglyphic text. The surface of the clay is brick red in color with the paertial remains of a buff slip (and some gesso?). Condition: Inscription is somewhat worn (or poorly stamped); some small holes; otherwise good.
