Catalogue Description: Oval, patinated wood cosmetic dish with band of low relief V's around exterior. Animal (crocodile?) head at one end and perforated form at the other. From accession card: Low, patinated wooden oval dish with band of low relief of concentric V's (filled with dull encrustation) around exterior. Animal head, possibly a crocodile, at one end, and perforated form at other end. Condition: Wood surface uneven and worn. Shallow abrasions underneath. Small amount of insect debris in back under perforated end. Underneath, written in white paint or ink, is "896" (or 968?).
