Catalogue Description:
Cast brass quadruped with applied braided and concentric circle designs. Tail is stubby and slightly pointed. Four rows of notch designs on sides of all four legs. One eye is pierced. Right foreleg has been broken off and reattached, but forward half is missing. CONDITION: Left forefoot and forward surface of leg have cracks. Both rear legs have cracks on forward areas as well as right rear foot. Patina under tail and tip of tail scraped as well as raised designs around face, head, and at feet.
