Catalogue Description:
Pair of Torah pointers, silver. Each: ring finial and shaft decorated with applied filigree and semiprecious stones, chain attached to ring, plain cylindrical stem engraved with cartouche of Hebrew inscription which reads, "Bezalel, Jerusalem" [Bezalel School of Art; see catalogue sheet in Decorative Arts departmental files for Hebrew], pointer in conventional hand form with extended index finger. Condition: Fair, discoloration.
