Object Label

This petal formed a segment of a three-dimensional lotus mandala (cosmic diagram) with eight movable petals. The Buddhist deity Hevajra, with his consort Nairatma (Sanskrit for "selflessness"), originally stood in the center surrounded by eight goddesses.
