CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Fragmentary pottery vase of pilgrim bottle shape. Heavy handles join the neck to the body. The remaining surface of this piece is decorated with a large moulded figure of the god Bes as warrior. There probably was a similar decoration on the opposite side. There is one small lug on the base and there probably was an additional one on the missing portion.
Condition: One entire side is missing, a large fragment of the other side is missing. The neck is badly chipped.
