Markings
Impressed on underside, around center: (1) & (2) two identical stamps, both partially struck: generally oval stamp with "WILLIAM" in banner around top edge; in center, scene of lamb holding a triangular flag on a staff and striding across ground; "[ELS]WORTH" in banner below, both banners curl at ends and meet along the side of the stamp at the midpoint. (3) upside down, row of four squarish hallmarks, from left to right, of: "W.E"; striding lamb carrying flag; seated allegorical figure; partially impressed stamp of lion or dragon rampant
