MARKINGS Inside front of watch case: inscribed “6513” around edge; “29.198” scratched around the edge. Underneath face (on part of the mechanism): inscribed “AVANCE / RETAR”. On inside back of watch case (underneath mechanism): stamped “1 2”; scratched/inscribed very lightly: “1011 J H”, 14at80”, “34264”, 291Y81” Two illegible stamps on the front of the T-shaped watch finding. Four stamps on the back of the oval watch finding: a partially open or loosely pointing right hand, a ram’s(?) head facing left, a bull or ox head with a “P” above its head between the horns, and a rooster head with an open beak facing left.
