On legs of man, molded: (proper right leg) "POLAND" and (proper left leg) "WATER"
On man's back, molded: a life-ring with "POLAND MINERAL SPRING WATER"; within ring, interlocking letters in fancy script "P M S"
On back of bottle, along bottom, molded: "H. RICKER & SONS PROPRIETORS"

CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Colorless pressed glass bottle molded into shape of seated male figure holding a staff; he is barefoot, has long hair and a long beard, and is wearing robes and a short turban (perhaps a philosopher?). Cylindrical neck and ringed mouth of bottle rise from turban. Bottle for Poland Spring water.
CONDITION: Fair; all over dirt, especially in crevices; manufacturing imperfections, including several bubbles in glass, a foreign substance enclosed in the glass and surrounded by small cracks in the back of the "seat," and a rough spot on underside in center where bottle was broken off mold.
