CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Painted wooden figure of a standing bird (of stork family). Long bill, head thrown back over body, long curved neck, wings in high relief, one leg folded half way between body and ground, right leg (restored) rests on ground. Head painted pale green, pale terracotta with eyes painted in black and white. Forepart of body and neck pale terracotta. Plumage indicated by irregular circles of white, black and green. Use unknown, possibly a toy.
Condition: Right leg restored and is certainly correct. Paint somewhat faded.
