    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Oval milk glass dish (a) with fitted lid surmounted by eagle (b). Dish tapers slightly toward bottom and has fluted sides all around. Lid rises to low oval dome covered with molded straw to evoke a nest; rising from nest is upper part of an eagle looking toward proper left, its wings are spread in protective gesture to surround three eggs inscribed in molded letters with "PORTO / RICA", "CUBA", and "PHILIPPINES". CONDITION: Good; tiny chips around top edge of dish and lid; hairline crack on lower edge of eagle's proper left wing.
