    MARKINGS (1) Impressed on underside of rim, 2 identical, barely distinguishable stamps placed side-by-side, appear to be an oval containing a rose topped by a crown and flanked by a frond or branch (2) Incised on top side of rim: "T T F" (3) Impressed on top side of rim opposite side of mark #2, row of three small shield-shape hallmarks, all badly worn, from left to right: lion rampant; indistinct [probably fleur-de-lis]; leopard's head

    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Large round pewter platter with wide, slightly curved rim. CONDITION: Poor; deep scratches and pit marks all over, some pit marks have turned into holes; rim bent / misshapen; dark spots of corrosion; spots of rust-colored substance (corrosion?) in center.
