    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Sculptor's model of a head of a priest in plaster. The piece is entirely plain and appears to be unfinished and weathered. There are no sculptor's lines or any marks of any sort on the piece. The head is slightly suggestive of the Tell-el Amarna type, but the piece is certainly late, possibly of the Roman period. Condition: Nose and mouth chipped and discolored, entire surface weathered. Slight crack in the neck.
