    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pear-shaped jar with a pedestal base and narrow neck. The exterior is decorated with a modeled, appliqué human head wearing a headdress and facial paint and with modeled arms emanating from the vessel body so hands rest on the chin and head. The base and sides are decorated with red geometrical designs and two monster beings on a tan-colored ground. Below the modeled head, two red painted rectangles appear to represent the figure's body. The ceramic style is Papagayo Polychrome. Condition: good; the rim is slightly chipped; painted surface slightly abraded; and white and red adhesive label on one side with 2_5 written in black ink.
