On back of clock, raised letters on metal backing: "MANUFACTURED UNDER PATS. / NO. 1,719,805-1, 797,912 / RE. 17,779 OTHERS PEND. / MADE IN U.S.A." On back of clock, on protruding section where cord is attached, raised letters: "115V - 60 CYCLE - 2W"

    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Round electric alarm clock with a frame and rectangular base of chrome-plated metal; face painted light gold with black numerals and three hands behind a glass cover. Frame encircling clock face is about 1/2" high and 1/2" deep; it is set into a low rectangular base with a rounded front edge and three parallel, square-grooved channels running from edge of clock frame down around front of base. Bottom of base lined with rust-colored felt. Clock face set back in frame behind glass; numerals are stylized and bulbous. Three hands, from back to front: hour hand is a large black circle with protruding triangle "pointer"; minute hand is long, narrow black rectangle with short tail extending past center point; second hand is very thin red strip terminating in a tear-drop shaped tail. Back of clock is a conforming metal plate attached with screws. A raised cylinder houses the clock works; on its flat back are four dials and knobs for setting the clock, inscribed instructions, and (protruding from bottom) the electric cord. CONDITION: Fair; small pits and scratches all over chromed casing and base; back has deeper scratches and losses of paint.
