Pair of cylindrical candle stands, carved in relief with mirrored images of coiling dragons amidst clouds. A collar of lotus petals appears at each base and a plain disc tops each candlestand with a prong protruding for the top to hold the candle. Both are painted in bright colors.
Likely made for the interior of a Buddhist temple although it is possible that such furnishings were also used in the public rooms of palace interiors.
