PROVENANCE Archaeological provenance not yet documented, reportedly from Akhmim, Egypt; by 1893, acquired in Egypt by Armand de Potter of Belgium and New York, NY; 1905, inherited from Armand de Potter by Amy Beckwith (Mrs. Aimee S. de Potter) of New York and Asheville, NC; 1908, purchased from Amy Beckwith by the Brooklyn Museum.

CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Standing, bronze, statuette of Mut with arms resting at sides. Vulture headdress with Double Crown. Base inscribed "May Mut grant life to Psmtk-s3-nt". Condition: Surface badly pitted by disease.
