CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
(a) Ivory bodied, elongated ovoid tapers towards bottom, on four raised, molded and applied feet with symmetrical scrolling decoration. Aesthetic style design, transfer printed in brown. On shoulder: dense continuous band of fragmented flowers with slight orange iridescence, followed by brown, continuous, thin, linear diaper pattern, followed by continuous small quarter circles, highlighted in orange iridescence. Applied, opposed handles, shaped as flattened arches.
(b) Elongated oval, conforming, slightly domed with 'u' shaped notch at one end, outer third of lid has dense continuous small quarter circles highlighted in orange, brown, continuous thin linear diaper pattern, followed by contiguous band of fragmented flowers with slight orange iridescence. Central, large, diamond reserve with polychromatic landscape scene with four sheep at bottom, with tree above; overlapping central reserve, brown with orange iridescence abstracted floral medallions. Applied, opposing handles, open arched with five polychrome flowers.
(c) large elongated oval underplate with raised well to contain tureen; on lower third of underplate, dense continuous small quarter circles highlighted in orange, brown continuous thin linear diaper pattern, followed by continuous band of fragmented flowers with slight orange iridescence.
