Obverse: Two seated females representing art and literature on either side of a plaque inscribed with the Society's seal and the inscription: "THE / HISPANIC / SOCIETY / OF / AMERICA;â in the background is the rising sun. Reverse: Seated female instructs youth by pointing to a globe; in the background is the Statue of Liberty. Light brown patina.
