    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Handbell with domed body, turned handle, and relatively large image of reclining Nandi (bull companion of the Hindu god Shiva), flanked by pointed tines that could be parts of Shiva's trident or of a vajra (stylized thunderbolt).
