    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Molded ewer with Egyptian motifs on buff colored body with dark brown glaze. Upwardly flared cylindrical form with flattened shoulder, short, straight-sided neck,. Molded spout in the form of Pharaoh's head applied opposite triangular, square profile dark-brown glazed handle emerging from spread wings at top of horizontal register (3 ¼ inches) with bands of vertical lines at top and bottom; scenes of Egyptian laborers and signs resembling hieroglyphics in low relief in off white against light brown background around circumference of ewer. Condition: Very good. Registration number 121031
