    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Vase (a) and cover (b), white-bodied porcelain, oviform; the shoulder, molded with a gilded-band of ribbon-bedecked flowering prunus on a gilt-seed blue ground; the front body painted with raised, polychrome-gilt, rocaille scrolls encompassing flowers, musical trophies, and ribbon with pendant mask and medallion against a blue ground; the reverse similarly painted with a pendant flower basket and ribbon-garland; the c-scroll handles gilded; raised on a circular base decorated with molded prunus blossoms on a gilt-seeded blue ground. The cover with a similar prunus-molded border, and gilt-molded finial. Condition: Very good, finial restored.
