Markings
Vase and cover, white-bodied porcelain, the body ovoid shaped; in the Rococo style, a painted scene of putti and dancing dog within a gilt asymmetrical cartouche, against a pink ground scattered with gilt snowflakes, the reverse painted with a spray of polychrome flowers; the scrolled handles attached to shoulder; the pink-ground cylindrical neck flared at mouth; raised on a gilt-rimmed circular foot. The pink-ground cover enriched with gilt, its white finial formed as a cluster of leaves.
