    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Jar (a) and cover (b), ivory-bodied porcelain, globular- shaped jar; the body with a gilt-foliate pattern painted on a turquoise ground; the short neck pierced and gilded; raised on a gilt circular base; the short cylindrical-shaped cover pierced and similarly decorated with gilt and turquoise. Condition: Jar: very good. Cover: good, slight chips on edge.
