    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Ewer, ivory-bodied porcelain, registration number 111573, baluster form; on the front an asymmetrical, loose bouquet of hand-painted polychrome flowers and leaves, edged and veined with gilt on a stained ivory ground; the reverse similarly painted in an abbreviated fashion; with an elaborately scroll handle formed as an acanthus leaf; the spout dramatically pinched; raised on a stepped circular base. Condition: Very good.
