    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Vase and cover, ivory-bodied porcelain, baluster shape; in the Chinese taste, the front and reverse painted with similar scenes of a horned, black-deer beneath a flying white stork in a circular, gilded medallion against a white ground with scattered stylized branches and butterflies, the neck and foot rings encircled with a blue and white fret band; the domed cover similarly decorated with stylized branches, butterflies, and fretwork, the knop an applied gilded rose. Condition: Fair, lower body and base cracked.
