    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Vase, ivory-bodied porcelain, double-fan shaped; in the Japanese taste, the front molded as a circular fan enameled with a large pink peony surrounded by leafy gilt-edged flowering branches; the reverse molded as a folding-fan painted with an asymmetrical leafy branch and two hovering brown-bodied bees with gilt-edged ivory wings; both fans encircled with a molded black and gilt roping with gilt tassels Condition: Good, old repair to top edge.
