CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Dagger with long sculpted hilt, now much worn from handling. Running up the shaft of the hilt are several figures of deities, with an image of the Hindu god Shiva's trusted mount, the bull Nandi, shown reclining at the top, sheltered by a canopy of multiple cobra hoods.
