Inscriptions
In Persian, portions of ghazal no. 425 from Hafiz's Divan (incorrect word order following undated repairs): "ای که بر ماه از خط مشکین نقاب انداختی لطف کردی سیه ای که بر آفتاب انداختی" [Complete text from The Divan of Hafiz: A Bilingual Text, Persian-English, trans. Reza Saberi (Oxford: University Press of America, 2002), 502.] Text read and identified by Dr. Abdullah Ghouchani, winter 2014 In Persian, portions of ghazal no. 425 from Hafiz's Divan (incorrect word order following undated repairs): "You who drew a veil over the moon with your dark khatt, You who did a favor to me in creating a shade in the sun."
