MARKINGS
Marks: No maker’s mark. Inside pedestal base handwritten in red pigment is the Brooklyn Museum accession number "54.64.64" which is crossed out by a single line in red pigment. Label adhered inside pedestal: square-rectangular label with red and white pre-printed text that reads: “DAMAGED: This article to which this label is attached was in a damaged condition prior to packing and handling.”
