CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Plate. Porcelain. Circular shape, concave form with slightly raised foot rim. The face is decorated with gilt and enamel work. The back is an undecorated, white surace. The center of the face has an enameled, stylized floral and geometric Asian motif. The outer ring has an enameled, stylized floral and geometric motif on a gilt background. Rim of plate has a gilt edge with an enamel and gilt, radiating pseudo cloisonne pattern with with an enamel and gilt pendant design below. Enamel colors consist of pinks,, reds, greens, and blue.The style of the plate shows an influence by Asian and Persian designs.
CONDITION - The overall condition is good. The plate has no visiable chips, cracks or repairs. A more detailed analysis is provided in the condition report locate in the object file.
