    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pair of doorknobs (a, b). Round with central high relief frontal portrait of long-eared (Setter-type) dog, with two front paws positioned below chin. Central scene is bordered with scalloped decoration surrounded by circular field of alternating pointed anthemion motifs on a concentric reeded background. Central relief portion of knob is inset into outer knob shell with beaded edge followed by undecorated border and circular molding. Collar, brass (c). Flat, circular collar decorated with relief strap work and stylized foliate motifs. Two opposed screw holes. Shaft (d). Square metal shaft, which connects doorknobs. Condition: Good
