    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Tea Kettle (a) and lid (b), brass and glass. Compressed spherical brass body (a) with four pad feet and angular s-shaped spout with bifurcated end. Handle comprises two facing upright sections with heart-shaped junctures, s-shape below c-shape form, and bell shaped finial between which is an opaque white glass handle of double baluster form. Slightly domed, stepped lid (b) with turned finial. CONDITION: Numerous dents to body and corrosion to surface, interior and exterior. Proper right front juncture repaired. Old repair to underside of glass handle at rear juncture.
