CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Jar (a) and lid (b) stoneware. Jar is circular, slightly compressed form with broad shoulders. Exterior of jar has horizontal bands of color with a broad band of light grey near base, a broad band of pink-grey above and a broad band of brown above that; a narrow band of pink-grey and a narrow band of light grey near neck. Interior glazed. Overhanging, slightly domed disc lid (b) with tooled striations on surface is grey shading to brown on one edge; interior glazing inside ring.
CONDITION: Four small chips on rim.
